As a community, we have enough wealth to make an impact both here, where we live, and abroad. So when giving your Zakatul Maal, Sadaqa and other forms of charity or donations don’t forget your brothers and sisters in need right on your doorstep. In giving, we to seek the pleasure of God, to purify our wealth and to empower others. Being Charitable is a pillar of Islam and charity should begin at home. We look to identify those most in need everywhere but we must aid those Miskeen and those most in need in our midst as priority.
